You can't teach courage. You can force it, but we won't always be around to give that nudge...

So says a possible character. Great man you say? Maybe... Can courage be taught? It's an interesting question, one that opens an avenue for exploration.
But that isn't why I'm here. No, I've come to this place in search of an idea. I've a stunning need to write something for the Creative Writers Group (CWG) and without an idea, a story gets nowhere. And worse than that, a notebook full of ideas, but a story has yet to really emerge from any of them. The ideas are bad? Maybe. The writer is bad? (A more likely) Maybe.

And this is where I skip the above as I wrote it days ago and left a window with it open in Firefox =)

Nonetheless, its been an interesting time. I thought of the above whilst sitting around Towers after my date.

To put the date in perspective though, we have to start well before it's beginning. I was dropped off to Towers at 8:20 in the morning, before almost any of the shops had really even opened. The date wasn't actually to start until 11:30, so I had some time to kill. I began wandering Towers, just listening to the calm. It's amazing how many things you don't notice until you stop and look at them. There are musings there that the mind never sees, the whole place is like a Museum.
So, I stared at the sights until 9:30, when Just Cuts opened and got a hair cut (where I also found my name was 'Jessica' according to the print out). From here, I bought a pad and pacer, totally ~$2.50, and wrote for a while. Eventually I grew bored of that, and bought a book, Foundation by Isaac Asimov. Great book, kept me well enjoyed.
Some time before 11, I decided I would go up there and wait around for her to turn up. I got there however, and she was already there ! O_O
"OH MY GOD! I'M LATE FOR THE DATE" < - Panicking Smerity Luckily though, as like most things, I overcompensated. She was early =) We grabbed a bite to eat, and then wandered about Towers for a while, turning off our frontal lobes and running child mode for a while ^_^ Then we finally went to see Superman Returns. It took me an hour to raise the arm chair in between us, and then nothing really happened. I don't think it was me chickening out, she just didn't seem very interested in even resting her head on my shoulder, so...
Hope it's not me =)
Then we wandered about Towers again, for what is chronologically a long time, but felt like a blink of an eye to me. Then she all of the sudden had to leave, her mum was already there.
After that I spent ~3-4 hours in Towers, until ~6 or 7pm when I saw Pirates of the Carribean : Dead Man's Chest.

So there you go, a quite surmised summary of what happened =)
She said she enjoyed it, I know I did, so here's hoping for the best from the future!

Being this happy can't be legal! ^_^

So, today as I was going through my emails, I came across one from the Oxygen Factory with the title of Risk. It begun,
Take risks; if you win, you will be happy;
if you lose, you will be more wise.

Well, thank god I'm not wise! lol
Basically, it worked. I took a jump, a leap in the dark. The main line of thought was the exact same as above. If I win, I surely would be happy, and if not, well, it's not the end of the world, not in any way.

What did I win you ask? A trip to the movies on a Friday night with a lovely girl

Just like Hawk though, after the first hurdle is done, I can freak out at the ones coming. There are questions burning their way into my mind.
We're going to a movie yes. But, me being a chicken, I didn't really define whether I was going as romantic interest or just as friends. While I'm happy with b if that's all I can get, I hope to god it's a. How do I find that out though? If she's expecting a and all I give her is b, she'll be confused, and if it's the other way around, she'll be freaked.
And then, in either case, panic! It's me! I'm going to lock up, freak out. Conversations will seem strange, and unnatural, like pot plant under bad fluroescent lights! Why in the world can't I find my damn book! I just hope it works out. Doesn't need to be Shakespeare, but what comes out of my mouth has to make sense, and it has to flow, instead of stop-start like I'm trying to do a math equation.

Anyway, got to go, considering 1:30am.
Just some things which I oughta point out in short.

Debutante, Sneak being busted, Peryta (from Peryton, for Miss Abby), Superman Returns, Cars, PotC Two, German exchange students returned home
