"It reminds me that there truly are good people in the world, and that I'm not one of them"

Obviously haven't posted in quite some time. Not much time to go into full, so will use very short words to tell of some of the newest things, no specific order...

Firefly, ADSL, Joss Whedon, HSC IT (in Yr 11), Debutante, Job (ISP), English (Gates), Writing (Creative - Gates), Corpse Bride, HHG2G, James Blunt, Time Machine, Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom (Cory Doctorow), Stressed, Smallville, Gundam Seed, The Lab, Alive, Well

They're just a few things obviously.

Since I have very little time, as it's midnight thirty, I'll just do a few creatives things. Will also note how cool it was to look over some of my old posts, was I ever that strangely interesting? lol

Dangit, my old random word generator site is down, and I can't really find anything to replace it for the moment.

The men had once come here to help them all. They came as heroes, hoping to save a generation from their own failings. All they succeeded in doing was the opposite.

truant - In real life, people like to be blind to the truth. The truth is hard and solid, a fact, and as such, can't be changed, for better or worse. Ever wonder why your parents rarely told you the truth when you were young, especially when a white lie would suffice?
A lie is not restricted by the tightly bound morality of the truth. If the information is painful, it can be changed, podded and proked just enough to be kind instead of a killer.
Truants have never been blessed with this ignorance. Other than the most elaborately staged mistruths can a truant not tell the truth is being misrepresented. At all other times, a lie, whether large or small, rarely gets past one.
For this reason, they've been exiled from much of society. Why would you want a truant? They can read your thoughts almost like their own, trespassing into a place you own, a place where you cannot erect fences, your very mind.

wiltand - A small portable device lodged into the ground to detect probabilities for a set of preset events. Instead of having to hire a surveyor, or a battle strategist, or anyone else, this small device, placed upon the ground and left for mere seconds, can tell you the decisive result on any forceast.

okerin - Handheld injection syringe used within the classroom. It injects the (expensive and rare) Retaneld-D into the blood system, which acts almost instantaneously, and overclocks the brain for a small timeframe. During this period of time, one can reach a state where the rest of reality is apparently slowed, whilst the brain calculates at a speed at which the body cannot keep up.
Originally this was used by students in exams to boost their results, and very successfully. This practice was considered immoral, as not all students could afford or obtain the drug. Now however, before all major exams, students are injected with a standard government issued Retaneld-D, meaning that no students get an unfair advantage.
Some studies suggest that the use of Retaneld-D can result in excessive neuron loss and neuron structure deformation, but these studies have been preliminary, and often disagreed with heavily by peer-reviewed sources.
Whilst it is true that Retaneld-A through C also had prevasive stability issues, it is believed that Retaneld-D is a much improved and safer structure, as it has been completely rebuilt.

Hope you / me / my rare and nonchalant audience enjoys =)
